Discovery Day - Innovate with CERN

Do you work in industry? Would you like to tap into CERN technology and know-how to support your innovation? Big Science Sweden is developing its Knowledge Transfer Office by establishing collaboration with the CERN Knowledge Transfer Group.

Now we will be holding our first event together. It will be a one-day virtual event where you can hear about established collaboration projects between CERN and different companies. It will also be an opportunity to hear CERN present its value propositions, different fields of technology, and to have 1-to-1 meetings with CERN representatives.

Industrial Controls, Machine Learning, Analytics and Robotics - Digital solutions for tomorrow’s industry
Magnets Superconductivity and Cryogenics - Solutions for sustainable transportation (trains, cars, aircraft)
Material Science – High Performance Applications in Harsh Environments

The Knowledge Transfer group at CERN aims to engage with experts in science, technology and industry in order to create opportunities for the transfer of CERN’s technology and know-how. Big Science Sweden is mandated by the Swedish Government to serve as a link between Swedish industry and the Big Science research facilities in which Sweden is a member. Big Science Sweden is now developing its operations with a Tech Transfer Office, working in collaboration with large-scale research facilities.
